Thoughtful transformations, built for real life.

Explore how NextGen turns dated, underperforming spaces into beautiful, functional rooms shaped around the people who use them.

Featured transformation

From 1990s bathroom to a refined modern retreat.

This primary bathroom began with an aging corner tub, dated finishes, and a layout that no longer felt current. The goal was to create a brighter, more elevated space without sacrificing everyday function.

A complete visual and functional reset

The renovation replaced the original 1990s-style bathroom with a clean, high-end design built around light, balance, and durable materials. A freestanding soaking tub creates a sculptural focal point, while the expanded glass shower gives the room a more open and intentional layout.

Herringbone tile adds movement and craftsmanship underfoot. Updated cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, mirrors, and lighting bring the entire room together in a calm, cohesive palette. The result feels brighter, more spacious, and far more aligned with the home today.

For NextGen, a successful remodel is not simply newer finishes. It is a space that works better, feels considered, and gives the homeowner a clear return in comfort and enjoyment.

Basement transformation

A farmhouse bar that works just as hard as a standing desk.

The homeowners wanted far more than a finished basement. They envisioned a comfortable extension of the home with a handcrafted farmhouse bar that could transition naturally into a bar-height workspace for focused work during the day.

Designed to entertain, work, and live well

NextGen transformed the unfinished, utility-focused basement into a bright and polished multipurpose room. New walls, a finished ceiling, recessed lighting, durable flooring, trim, paint, and thoughtful mechanical coordination created the foundation for a space that now feels fully connected to the rest of the home.

The centerpiece is a custom-built farmhouse bar with X-detail end panels, integrated storage, display shelving, a beverage refrigerator, and a handcrafted herringbone wood top. The extended counter provides comfortable gathering space for entertaining while giving the homeowner a substantial standing-height work surface when the room shifts into office mode.

The result is highly personal and genuinely useful: part bar, part standing desk, part finished living area—and a basement that now contributes to everyday life instead of simply holding unused square footage.
